The purpose of Artemis (Records Retention and Disposition Management System) is to provide efficiencies across State, County,
and Municipal agencies in addressing many of the Records Management functions, processes,
and services offered by NJDARM in accordance with the Destruction of Public Records
Act, Chapter 410, PL 1953.
During the initial
phase, Artemis is
designed to offer
the functions listed

Lookup and download agency specific retention schedules |

Maintain agency level profile on Artemis including information on various certified
systems in use at the Agency. A County or Municipality can create multiple user
accounts on the Artemis |

Electronic submission of Request and Authorization for Records Disposal, including
online status update
|
|
Management Reports |
|
In the future, Artemis will be expanded to support State Agencies and may include other NJDARM services related to Imaging Certification, Imaging Services and Micrographics, and Records Storage.
