The County Archives and Records Management Association of New Jersey (CARMA/NJ)
was formed in 1989 to study, discuss and recommend improvements in county
governmental records management and assist in establishing records management
programs at the county level throughout the State of New Jersey.
We believe in the importance of properly managing government records.
Our motto in Latin- patrimonium acta nostra translated means
"our records are our heritage."
CARMA/NJ meets four times a year at convenient locations throughout New
