The payroll sheets record personnel at the following stations on the canal: Port Delaware, Broadway (until July 1926), Washington, Hackettstown (until April 1928), Stanhope/Lake Hopatcong, Dover, Boonton, Mountain View, Paterson, Bloomfield, and Newark. (The latter six towns are later referred to as the Montville and Eastern Division.) The sheets record the employee's name, occupation, hours, rate, and pay for the period January 1925 to July 1929. A separate volume contains a transcript of the payroll sheets for May 1929 through July 1929. |
