Note
This
series contains records related to soldiers' pensions from the National
Guard. “An Act to Further Amend an Act...” passed June
6, 1894 allowed for an injured soldier or his immediate family to
collect from the state “the like reward that persons under
similar circumstances receive from the United States.”
The records are organized by Pension claimant.
