New Jersey State Records Committee
The
State Records Committee regulates the retention and disposal
of all state and local public records, promulgates related standards,
and awards all PARIS grants to county and municipal governments.
Created by the Public Records Act
of 1953, the committee consists of representatives of the:
State Treasurer (Acting) David Rousseau (Charles Chianese, designee;
Michael Tyger, alternate designee)
Attorney General Anne Milgram (John Turi, designee)
State Auditor Richard L. Fair (Joseph Ettenger, designee; Rose
Todaro, alternate designee)
Director, Division of Local Government Services, Department
of Community Affairs, Susan Jacobucci (Marc Pfeiffer, designee)
Director, Division of Archives and Records Management, Department
of State, Karl J. Niederer (Chair and Secretary)
